A section of the N11 Dublin to Wexford road was closed last night while the fire service extinguished a burning vehicle. The trailer of a truck travelling towards Dublin caught fire near the Newtownmountkennedy exit in Co Wicklow at about 8.30pm.
A Garda spokesman said that no one was injured by the fire. He said traffic diversions were in place on the N11 and that the cause of the blaze was not yet clear.
