The group arrived from Zurich on November 24th with valid passports and three-month business visas.

On their arrival, the men gave the contact address of Finlay's building block company in Ballygawley, Co Tyrone, whose machinery they were considering importing to Pakistan.

Immigration officials detained the men after they suspected they would try to use Northern Ireland to enter Britain, for which only two of the group had valid holiday visas.
