All-Ireland football champions Tyrone have again came up trumps in award season after nine of their players were named on the Opel Gaelic Players Association team of the year today.

Seven Tyrone players were awarded All-Stars earlier this month, but the players have also voted for Ryan McMenamin and Joe McMahon.

Beaten All-Ireland finalists Kerry have three players on the team, although Kieran Donaghy misses out, with Galway's Michael Meehan and Joe McMahon named in the full forward line alongside Colm Cooper.

Wexford's fine campaign is rewarded with a place for goalkeeper Anthony Masterson, while Westmeath corner back John Keane is included after picking up an All Star.
