UK: A memorial service for Ken Bigley, the British hostage murdered in Iraq, will be held today in his home city of Liverpool.
Both Muslim and Christian leaders will contribute to the ceremony at the Anglican Liverpool Cathedral.
"It will be a time of celebration as well as a time of memorial because it is a celebration of Ken Bigley's life," a spokesman for the Diocese of Liverpool said.
A senior government representative is expected to attend the service, which starts at 11 a.m. and is expected to last one hour.
