Wimbledon:   Andy Murray has been seeded eight for Wimbledon despite his participation at the All England Club remaining in doubt.

Murray has not played since suffering a wrist injury in the Hamburg Masters last month, and has yet to confirm if he will be fit to play when the third grand slam of the year starts next Monday.

But the British number one's world ranking has ensured a place among the top seeds, with defending champion Roger Federer number one seed in the men's singles and French Open champion Justine Henin heading the women's.
