Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak arrived in Dublin yesterday for a two-day visit, the first such visit by an Egyptian head of state.
This morning he will meet Minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern at Farmleigh House before meeting President Mary McAleese and her husband, Dr Martin McAleese, at Áras an Uachtaráin.
Mr Mubarak will have talks with Taoiseach Bertie Ahern at Government Buildings this afternoon.
