Kampala - A mob lynched a man in south-west Uganda after the drunken 20-year-old hacked three children to death and injured four others, a Ugandan newspaper reported yesterday.
Residents in Ntungamo village fatally clubbed and stoned Wilson Owele last Thursday after he attacked the children with a broad-bladed knife, said the independent Monitor newspaper, quoting an eye-witness.
The man, who had been drinking a locally brewed gin and smoking marijuana for several hours, attacked the children after their noise disturbed his afternoon sleep, the paper said.
