A man is in hospital in Derry city today after a gun attack in the city late last night.
The man sustained injuries to the chest and face after a gunman fired what police believe was a single shot through the window of a house in Glengalliagh Park in the Shantallow area.
The man was sitting in his front room at the time. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
