A man has died in a road crash in Co Louth early today.
The incident happened at Ballymacsanlon, Carlingford Road in Dundalk. It is understood the 66-year-old male driver of the car died when he lost control of the vehicle. A woman passenger was treated for shock at Louth County Hospital.
The deceased has been removed to the same hospital where a post mortem is expected to be carried out.
The man's name has not yet been released.
