A man in his fifties was killed and another man was injured in a two-car collision at Kilmacanogue village in Co Wicklow at about 10 p.m. last night.
The injured man is being treated at St Colmcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, and the name of the dead man will not be released until relatives have been informed.
