A man in his late 20s died last night in a two-car crash on the N4 near Drumfin, Co Sligo.
Gardaí are investigating the two-vehicle collision which occurred at about 8.30pm.
The man was fatally injured when the car he was driving hit a second car. He was taken to Sligo General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The passenger in his car, along with the driver and a passenger in the second car, were all taken to Sligo General Hospital with injuries described as minor.
This stretch of road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators. Local diversions are in place.
