Man charged over another Latvian's death

A Latvian was charged yesterday at Dublin District Court in connection with the death of another Latvian man last Friday.

A Latvian was charged yesterday at Dublin District Court in connection with the death of another Latvian man last Friday.

Mr Sergy Strautinsh (33), with an address at Seville Place in Dublin, is charged with assaulting Mr Alexander Timo Feyev (25), causing him harm.

Mr Feyev died after an altercation at a flat in Seville Place in the north inner city on Friday night. He was taken to the Mater Hospital but died shortly afterwards.

Mr Strautinsh was charged under the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act.

He was remanded in custody by Judge William Hamill, to appear again on January 30th.
