A man was arrested yesterday in connection with an assault on New Year's Day on a Co Tyrone man who died two days later.
Mr Michael Kerr (52), from Omagh, died in hospital in Derry on January 3rd, following the assault in Derrybeg, Co Donegal. He had been on holidays there with members of his family.
The man was arrested yesterday in Annagry, Co Donegal, and was being held at Glenties Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
