US:A woman in suburban Dallas came home last week to find an unknown man in her bedroom who had a startling message for her: "Your husband wants you murdered," he said, according to police reports. He then gave Roxanne Sterling (37) a bit of advice: call the police.

Her husband, Albert Jackson Sterling II of Allen, Texas, faces two charges of criminal solicitation of capital murder, one for his wife, who is eight months pregnant, and one for the unborn child. He is awaiting extradition from New Mexico, where he flew with the couple's three-year-old son before the hit man called.

The would-be assassin is co-operating with police and does not face charges. Albert Sterling and he met several months ago, when Sterling allegedly offered him a large sum of money to kill his wife and helped him get into the house, police said.
