Manila - A computer school drop-out suspected of being responsible for the "Love Bug" virus which hit computers around the world in May said he had been deluged with job offers at home and abroad.

Mr Onel de Guzman (24), speaking to reporters for the first time in four months, said: "Calls would come one after another at my house, and my sister would talk to them. I don't entertain them because my siblings tell me there will be more offers to come."

The Philippine Justice Department dropped charges against Mr de Guzman on Monday.
