London - The British Labour Party has recovered the lead it lost in opinion polls during the September oil crisis, according to two opinion polls published yesterday. In an opinion poll conducted for the Sunday Times by NOP, 42 per cent said they would vote for Labour compared with 35 per cent for the Conservatives and 17 per cent for the Liberal Democrats.
