A High Court judge has urged mediation in a dispute between members of Irish rock band LiR and their former manager over alleged financial losses following the cutting short of a US tour in 1995.

Mr Justice George Birmingham yesterday twice recommended the parties come to some agreement rather than spend up to 14 days in the High Court “throwing good money after bad” in a dispute over relatively small sums of money. The judge has recommended the sides consider mediation overnight.
