Olympics - Sailing: Ireland's Olympic flagbearer Ciara Peelo lies 25th overall after scoring a 23rd and 17th in her opening two races of the Laser Radial class this morning.
Ger Owens and Phil Lawton slipped from eighth to 13th in the overall standings after managing just a 17th and 15th place finish in their races today.
The top ten boats in both classes will progress to the final after a series of 10 races. Tim Goodbody (21st overall) resume his competition in the men's heavy weigh Finn class tomorrow.
Goodbody has just four races to force his way into contention.
