Cricket: Ireland's match against Kenya in the Tri-Nations Series in Nairobi was abandoned today due to rain and a sodden outfield. It is their second match abandonment in as many days.

Phil Simmons' side defeated Kenya by 86 runs after they lost their opening game to Zimbabwe by 156 runs.

It means Ireland will have to wait on tomorrow's result between Kenya and Zimbabwe before they find out if they will be involved in Saturday's final.

If Kenya or Zimbabwe win Ireland are guaranteed a place in the final but another washout will end their hopes.
