The opening day of the trial of a Dublin man charged with the murder of an 18-month-old infant was yesterday adjourned for legal reasons at the Central Criminal Court. When arraigned on Monday, Mr John Reilly (32) pleaded not guilty to the murder of Ois∅n Reilly-Murphy on June 5th, 2000, at Kiltalown Road, Tallaght, Co Dublin.

The jury will begin hearing evidence today before Mr Justice Carney.
