Indian officials yesterday dismissed speculation that the Prime Minister, Mr Atal Behari Vajpayee, was seriously ill, Rahul Bedi reports from New Delhi.
Mr Vajpayee postponed his scheduled trip to the US next week by two days after he collapsed at his party's annual convention at the weekend. Sources close to Mr Vajpayee said his deteriorating health was "worrying" the government.
