A French fisherman in his early 20s who was believed to be suffering from an arm injury was winched from his vessel yesterday afternoon by a helicopter from the Irish Marine Emergency Service. The man was injured in an accident earlier in the week and his vessel, Badrouille, had to come into range to allow a pickup by the IMES, some 120 miles south-west of Castle townbere, Co Cork.
