Support sessions to quit smoking

Dublin residents looking for support to give up smoking can join the group therapy approach held in St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin 4. Psychotherapist Emma Murphy runs group therapy sessions for sufferers of bulimia and binge-eating. She also offers those attending access to an online private message board between sessions. Mentoring workshops for better parenting

Parent mentor Sheila O’Malley is running a series of day-long parenting skills and tips seminars in Bewleys Hotel, Leopardstown (just off the M50), Dublin. The workshops look at how to cope with challenging behaviour and help your child become more responsible. The first workshop will be on January 23rd, 10am to 5pm. Cost: €80. Holistic health workshop on Indian system

A two-day holistic health workshop, based on the Indian Ayurvedic Health System as developed by Deepak Chopra, will be held in Oscailt Integrative Health Centre, Pembroke Road, Dublin on January 31st and February 7th.
