Minister for Labour Affairs Dara Calleary yesterday announced the appointment of Brendan Hayes as a deputy chairman of the Labour Court.
Siptu vice-president Mr Hayes is also a member of the national executive committee of Ictu and has served on Government commissions including the Commission on Public Service Pensions and the Commission on Taxation.
He “will bring a wealth of experience to the Labour Court,” Mr Calleary said.
