Shamrock Rovers will face a play-off against either Sligo Rovers or Cobh Ramblers after a 2-1 defeat to fellow strugglers Waterford United ensured the Munster top flight status for another season.

Rovers took the lead through Willo McDonagh but two goals in five second half minutes from Paul Crowley and Kevin Waters secured Premier Division football for Waterford.

Finn Harps are consigned to the First Division following a two nil defeat to Drogheda United.  Gavin Whelan and Sami Ristila found the net for the homeside.

A David Tyrell brace and a goal from Ciaran Ryan ensured three points for Bray Wanderers against Bohemians.  Aidan O'Keefe was on target for Bohs who remain in fifth, two places above Bray.
