Berlin - Germany's pacifist Greens, falling in popularity, adopted a new party platform yesterday accepting the use of force as they re-positioned themselves closer to the political centre ahead of September elections.
The junior party in Chancellor Gerhard Schr÷der's coalition government has been under mounting political pressure amid fears it could get bounced from power if it fares poorly at the polls.
