A three-year-old girl who was hospitalised in Kerry on Tuesday suffering from a serious head injury, has died.
The child, who was rushed to Tralee General Hospital from an undisclosed address in the town, died early this afternoon.
A Garda spokesman said they were investigating the circumnstances surrounding the death of the child but refused to give any further details.
