Geraghty still deciding on National ride

Grand National: Barry Geraghty is still mulling over which horse to ride in the John Smith's Grand National

Grand National: Barry Geraghty is still mulling over which horse to ride in the John Smith's Grand National. The Irish-based jockey, successful in the Aintree feature on Monty's Pass in 2003, has been offered two mounts in Saturday's Aintree spectacular.

"We're still waiting. I still don't know myself," said his agent Ciaran O'Toole. "Barry hasn't decided yet, but he has to make up his mind tomorrow. I'll say we'll know in the morning.

"He's been offered a couple, but he's just deciding which one he wants. I can't say anymore. There's a veil of secrecy at the moment."

Geraghty has ridden in the last six Nationals with Monty's Pass being his partner for the last three years, finishing 16th behind Hedgehunter 12 months ago.
