Lima - Peru's embattled President Alberto Fujimori said he had confined all military to barracks amid a deepening political crisis, but offered no explanation.
"We have declared a total freeze on military movement," a heavily-guarded Mr Fujimori told reporters in the village of Chaclacayo.
