A former officer with the Southern Regional Fisheries Board protested yesterday outside the board's head office in Clonmel, Co Tipperary, claiming he has been victimised for exposing corruption.

Mr Michael Hickey, who was dismissed by the board last December, said he is owed compensation and holiday pay and will protest at the same location every Friday "until I get what I'm entitled to".

An unfair dismissals case taken against the board by Mr Hickey was heard in Clonmel last month and a decision is due shortly.
