Fire at top London store

London - A fire broke out at London's fashionable Liberty department store yesterday. Part of the basement and lift shaft were damaged but no one was hurt. Some 300 people were evacuated from neighbouring buildings while the fire at the six-storey shop off Regent Street was brought under control.
