Racing:Six-time champion jockey Kieren Fallon believes that Mahmood Al Zarooni's Dubai Prince is capable of a big surprise in Saturday's Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot.

Fallon rode the three-year-old on his comeback run at Newbury where he beat Sir Henry Cecil's subsequent winner Jet Away, and is expecting a big run from the Shamaardal colt on Saturday.

column, Fallon said: "The one that could surprise everyone is Dubai Prince, who impressed me enormously when I rode him at Newbury last month.

"The form of that race has been franked by Jet Away last week at York. Dubai Prince could have picked up and carried Sir Henry Cecil's runner at Newbury, such was the ease of his victory, yet Jet Away turned up at the Knavesmire for what looked a competitive race last week and won by no less than nine lengths.

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

Fallon was also positive about the chance of Green Destiny in Saturday's €1.5 million Group One feature, having ridden William Haggas' charge to victory twice already this season.

"My best ride of the day is unquestionably Green Destiny, who has to be one of the most progressive horses of the season. William Haggas has done a great job with this son of Marju.

"As you would imagine for a race of such immense value, it has attracted a smart field, but don't write off my fellow because this is his first run in Group One company," he added.
