Mental Health services in the mid-western region are to benefit from £1.5 million in additional funding provided by the Minister for Health, Mr Martin, to the Mid-Western Health Board.
This will allow for alternative accommodation for 75 of the 200 patients in St Joseph's Psychiatric Hospital, Limerick.
