Injured England fast bowler Matthew Hoggard will have his back injury reassessed on Monday.

The 30-year-old was ruled out after suffering discomfort in the build-up. He underwent an MRI scan yesterday which revealed irritation in a disc in his back.

"His rehabilitation will be closely monitored over the next five days and he will be re-assessed by ECB medical staff on Monday," read an England statement.
