Cricket: Marcus Trescothick struck an 11th one-day international hundred as England beat Ireland by 38 runs in Belfast.
Trescothick hit 113 out of England's 301 for seven, sharing a three-figure stand with Ian Bell (80) before holing out in the deep.
Although victory was never seriously in jeopardy, the Irish refused to fold in their inaugural one-day international and rallied from 135 for six.
