A web-based competition for Leaving Cert students, with a prize of £500, aims to heighten awareness of the telecommunications industry among second-level students.

DCU's school of electronic engineering, in association with Ericsson, wants to promote the university's BEng in telecommunications degree. The hope is that the competition will encourage students to consider a career in the telecommunications area.
