Boxing: Bernard Dunne maintained his unbeaten record in the professional ranks last night, getting the points decision over Argentina's Sergio Carlos Santillan.
Dunne turned in a patient display against an experienced campaigner, using his jab to great effect, and was rarely in trouble throughout the eight round bout.
Santillan, stopped just once in his career, was kept at bay as Dunne dominated and although a slip in the last round gave rise to a nervous finish, the result was never in doubt.
The win moves the Dubliner a step closer towards a showdown with European champion Michael Hunter.
