GAA:Dublin GAA today confirmed a new six-year shirt deal with telecom giant Vodafone. The €4.65million sponsorship deal begins with immediate effect and accounts for both hurling and football.
“This sponsorship deal is a massive boost to Dublin GAA and all Dublin GAA clubs and members,” said Gerry Harrington, chairman Dublin county board.

The €4.65million contract has a six-year horizon with a midway review plus additional benefits including telecoms support for the duration of the deal.
“Dublin is the biggest county brand in Gaelic Games and one of the most historic and successful. Vodafone is the biggest brand in telecoms and a global company with local roots so this, is a winning partnership and we look forward to supporting the county in 2010 and for the duration of what will be a successful relationship,” added Charles Butterworth, chief executive Vodafone Ireland.
