Donegal Creameries today announced annual pre-tax profit of €2 million for last year in a statement released at today's annual general meeting.
The profit is down on the restated €4.5 million. The firm said the first six months of this year had been very challenging and how these will impact on its full-year performance was yet unclear.
And while the company expects to beat last year's results, it said it was unlikely to meet market expectations.
