Demolition work began at the RUC-British army base at Roslea on the Monaghan-Fermanagh Border yesterday in what the British army said was a step towards "normalisation".
It is expected that the Wattlebridge checkpoint near Newtownbutler on the Fermanagh/Cavan border will be next to go.
