Tanz Ensemble Cathy Sharp is an excellent dance company from Switzerland, seen last year at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast, and previously at the Beltable, Limerick. At last they visit Dublin with four pieces under the umbrella title of T.E.C.S. Dance. Most interesting for Irish audiences will be the chance to see Stew, which has been highly praised by the Swiss critics. It is by Marguerite Donlon from Longford, whose short piece for LDdance Trust was seen at the Backstage Theatre, Longford, in August. Artistic Director Sharp, whose previous work greatly impressed, has choreographed Lunula, while Torn Stones and Hiccup is by Jennifer Hanna, formerly of Culberg Ballet and Nederlands Dans Theatre. The fourth piece Sometime Salvation is by Nicolo Fonte, formerly of Nacho Duato's Compania Nacional de Danza, and the dancers are substantially those who impressed so much in Belfast.
