Two men arrested by PSNI in dissident republican inquiry

Suspects detained in west Belfast and Derry

Two men are being questioned by detectives in Belfast as part of an investigation into dissident republican terrorist activity.

The suspects, aged 35 and 47, were arrested in west Belfast and Derry on Saturday morning.

They are now at Musgrave police station serious crime suite for questioning.

Two properties were also searched as part of the investigation.

A PSNI spokesman confirmed two other men, aged 39 and 40, arrested on Friday in west Belfast and South Down in connection with alleged dissident republican activity remain in police custody.
