A man arrested by gardaí investigating the death of Michael Kelly in Dublin last month has been released without charge.

Kelly was shot in Kilmainham in the southwest inner city at 10.30am on July 15th, close to the Red Luas line.

Kelly (27), originally from St Teresa’s Gardens in Dublin 8, was known to gardaí. He had drug-related convictions.

A man in his 20s was questioned by gardai in connection with the death following his arrest yesterday. He is the fifth person questioned over the death.

Three women and a man were arrested and questioned over his murder on July 23rd.
