The PSNI is investigating a paramilitary-style shooting in Co Antrim last night in which a man was shot in each leg.

The attack happened in the Castlemara Drive area of Carrickfergus shortly before midnight.

The victim is in his twenties and is being treated in hospital for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
