A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene of a Dublin city centre drug raid yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí searched an apartment at Stafford House, in Wolfe Tone Street and found cannabis and other drug paraphernalia.

Officers said the cannabis plants had an estimated value of up to €100,000.

The man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody at Store Street Garda station.

Gardaí said these type of operations were important to “disrupt criminals and their networks”.
