A 22-year-old man has been arrested after a cannabis grow house and 114 cannabis plants with an approximate street value of €91,200 were discovered at a house in Ballinamuck, Co Longford.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested after a cannabis grow house and 114 cannabis plants with an approximate street value of €91,200 were discovered at a house in Ballinamuck, Co Longford.

The discovery was made yesterday.

The man is being detained under the provisions of section 2 of Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Longford Garda station.
