Dublin Corporation has been ordered by the High Court to pay four-fifths of the costs of legal proceedings taken by the chairwoman of a Dublin city centre tenants' association over a high-rise office block development near her home.

Ms Vera O'Connor of TLMG Tenants Association, in the Townsend Street, Luke Street, Moss Street and Glouc ester Street area, brought her action against the corporation in relation to a development being carried out by Borg Developments Ltd.

Last week, Mr Justice O'Neill turned down claims in respect of some changes to the planning permission for certain blocks but held in her favour in relation to proposed amendments to two blocks. The question of costs was adjourned until yesterday.
