Cork City 2 Shelbourne 1:Defending champions Cork City moved top of the eircom Premier Division tonight with a 2-1 win over Shelbourne.
Cork were trailing at after Jason Byrne - recently called up for the Republic of Ireland training trip to Portugal - scored a 41st minute goal to give Shels the lead.
George O'Callaghan levelled the score minutes later before Neale Fenn scored soon after the break to secure the points for Damien Richardson's side.
