Tonight’s pre-season friendly between Finn Harps and Sligo Rovers at Finn Park has been called off due to a frozen pitch.

Tomorrow’s Fairyhouse meeting is also looking doubtful after an inch and a half of snow fell in just 45 minutes this evening. The track will be subject to an 8am inspection tomorrow morning.

The equivalent meeting at Fairyhouse in late February of last year was abandoned and temperatures at the course on Thursday night hit minus five.

Sunday’s Allianz football league game between Tyrone and Cork in Omagh has been rescheduled for Sunday the 6th of April. This game was due to be broadcast live on TG4 but the station will now broadcast live coverage of the game between Kerry and Fermanagh from Killarney at 2.30pm.
