US medical insurance company CIGNA is to create an additional 100 jobs at its processing centre in Loughrea, Co Galway.
Under its expansion plan CIGNA will add 220 new jobs within three years. The company employs 160 people in Loughrea.
CIGNA has three operating divisions that provide healthcare, group life, accident and disability insurance, and investment management to employer groups for their employee benefit programmes.
It employs almost 33,000 people at over 450 locations worldwide
